Had a fantastic experience at Star, and especially loved our sales guy, Jim, and also Matthew in Finance. We never felt pressured and always felt like we were given all of the information we needed. Jim was so incredibly patient, fun, and knowledgeable! I have never had a sales person spend as much time as he did to make sure we understood the car and all of its features. I highly recommend Star and look forward to a lasting relationship with them.
Buick Enclave 2010 We have had repeated problems with our AC system. It was in for service last year and the problem seemed okay for the remainder of the summer. This year when it got hot again at the end of June, the AC system was not working....AGAIN!! The passenger and rear air were not working. However, the driver air was working. The dealer fixed the problem....however, it took 4 days between ordering parts and fixing the AC. I had a loaner, which was a major convenience!! Thank you! Picked up my Buick Enclave and everything was fine. 2 days later.....no AC on the driver’s side!!! No problem with the driver’s side BEFORE it went in for service. Then needed an additional $300+ to fix a problem I didn't have when I took the car in originally. But I was told it “was just a coincidence!” I understand the GMC cars have had problems with the AC system on many models. We have spent literally thousands of dollars on this AC system. We have loved and enjoyed the Buick Enclave for many years. However, this problem makes me VERY hesitant to buy another GMC product. We are in the market to buy a new car, but afraid we will be looking at cars other than GMC. My understanding is that this problem has occurred for years on many models and you have yet to resolve the issue. We personally know 4 other people who have had problems. 2 Acadias and 2 Buick Enclaves. These are immediate family members. I am sure if I asked random owners, the numbers would be much higher. I know this is not a dealership problem. You have done your best to accommodate us and fix the AC issues. My concern is.....what is GMC doing to resolve these issues? Our Enclave is a 2010. It seems from checking the Internet, that GMC is STILL having these problems with the AC system. Almost 10 years?? Ridiculous and unacceptable!! We have almost always purchased GMC vehicles. Unfortunately, I think that is about to change.
My 2019 LaCrosse (3500 miles) left me sit in traffic and I had to be towed to the dealership. I was, to say the least, angry and frustrated. The staff at Star was understanding and helpful and very thorough in finding the problem and fixing it.
